By age 10 she was on her third pony and had already been riding with a Sally Swift Centered Riding® instructor for 6 years. She attended 4H camps, and rode with clinicians in-between practicing on her own at home. As a teenager she spent every spare moment riding or working off lesson, often cycling up to 16 hours a day round trip to local farms.
By age 16 Meghan had earned a breeding fee to a local TB stallion and bred one of her own mares. The result produced her first homebred colt she raised and later competed cross country and competitive hunter paces with.
She later took her horses with her to college at the University of Maine in Orono, where she continued riding and competing at local shows and events in between her studies.
After college Meghan met her husband and moved to MA where she continued to train with clinicians and coaches developing her abilities as a dressage rider, and began to develop her business as an independent instructor.
